Charlie has been an active member of the Security Industry since 1974 when he
joined a privately
held company, “Per Mar Security” as a security Guard. Spending
the next ten years of his life learning the various facets of security, Charlie worked
as a Guard, Account Supervisor, Investigator, Security Sales, Alarm / Access Control
/ CCTV Installer / Serviceman, and Supervisor of Installation / Service.
In 1984, Charlie broke off on his own and founded LRC Electronics Company in the basement of his home. LRC. Electronics Company (now known LRC, LLC) is a full service warranty / non-warranty repair center for Industrial Closed Circuit Video Equipment. Servicing all fifty states, Canada, and Mexico, LRC is the largest Independent Service Center of it's type in the US (Go to www.lrc-llc.com). Charlie was the active President / Manager of LRC until the spring of 2003 when he sold the company in order to pursue his true dream of training and consulting on CCTV. Charlie is still very active in the support of LRC, LLC as a consultant from the industry.
In 1985, Charlie founded LTC. Training Center. During the sale of LRC Electronics in 2003, LTC was closed and reopened as “LeapFrog Training & Consulting (LTC)”. LTC is a full service training center specializing in two, three, and five day seminars on "Application/Design" and "Installation/Field Service" of Closed Circuit Video Systems both in the USA and Internationally. LTC has also promotes the only complete A to Z training for CCTV on video and DVD including complete Educational Support Systems on CD ROM. Charlie has also written three, plain language books on Industrial CCTV that are the only ones of their type available. LTC is now promoting Internet based e-training programs as well. The seminars, video training sets, DVD, CD ROMs, e-training, and books are distributed world wide and heralded as the best in the industry.
